How data is used
To provide, secure, and improve the service
We use account and submission data to authenticate users, process scans, save requested history, support billing, prevent abuse, and investigate reliability problems.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use private submitted content for advertising.
- Submitted material is sent to our configured AI provider to generate the requested analysis and cleanup.
- Repository Snapshot prompts run locally in your coding tool. Slop Swamp receives the structured result, not repository source files.
- Repository results may include relative file paths and line numbers when the coding tool supplies them, but prompts prohibit source code, secrets, and environment values.
- Supabase provides authentication and data storage, Stripe provides billing, and Resend provides transactional and mailing-list email.
- Google Analytics provides aggregate website usage measurement and may use cookies or similar browser storage.
- Access to production systems is limited to people who need it to operate the service.
- Service providers may process data only to deliver the functions we use them for.
Storage and retention
Saved until you remove it or close the account
Projects, submitted material, scan results, and repository audit reports are stored so you can access your history. You can delete individual scans and projects, or delete the account from Account settings.
- Deleting a project removes its repository audit runs and findings.
- Deleting the account removes profile, project, scan, and repository audit records from the application database.
- Billing providers may retain transaction records to meet financial, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations.
- Infrastructure providers may retain short-lived security and reliability logs.
- Do not submit confidential or regulated information unless you are authorised to use the configured service providers.
Your choices
Access, correction, export, and deletion
You can ask for a copy of personal information connected to your account, correct inaccurate details, or request deletion where we are not required to keep records for legal or security reasons.

- We may verify your identity before completing a request.
- Billing and fraud-prevention records may be retained where legally required.
- Material changes to this notice will be published here with a revised date.
